Gault Millau 2007: 19/20
Burghound - Allen Meadows - (January 2006)
"Here the aromas are more elegant and more complex but not necessarily riper with high-toned red pinot fruit and an attractive dried herb note that sits atop earthy yet fine and refined medium full flavours that deliver outstanding detail and delineation. This is a classically styled wine with prominent but ripe acidity and dusty tannins that have just enough phenolic maturity. This will be one of the more elegant and refined vintages of Clos des Lambrays and the balance is such that it should age extremely well over the moderate term, which is to say 25 to 30 years" (90-92).2014+
The Burgundy Briefing - Sarah Marsh MW - (January/February 2006)
"Spicy, very aromatic and elegant aroma. Attack firm, but ripe with generous notes of warm strawberries, cherries and black pepper. Really very appealing. Velvety tannins, then the wine tightens up an upright elegance. Good pace and a very well balanced and layered palate which exhibits a lot of finesse. Very fine. From 2010.

93 points. A terrific 2004, with loads of sweet black cherry, raspberry, rose and sandalwood notes. As this intensifies across the palate, the mineral element becomes evident. The structure is well-integrated, and this ends with freshness. Best from 2009 through 2022.
