notes written by Thierry Brouin
There is no declassification of CLOS in this "Les Loups" cuvée, but the typicity of this vintage with its well present suavity and its well ripe tannins is perfectly revealed.
Being without any agressivity, this 1er cru can be tasted from now and can be cellared from 5 to 10 years without any problem. From 2010
Burghound - January 2009
This too is very pinot but slightly cooler, fresher and more elegant with a pretty blend of red berry fruit, underbrush, stone and the barest trace of animale that also extends to the rich and nicely full flavors that offer a relatively suave mid-palate and solid finishing precision. This seems to have added some much needed weight since it was bottled and the overall quality is quite good. 90 / 2013+
